I found a casual reference to Dr. Medhat El Amir’s death, but could not find an obituary.

I’ve emailed the reporter of that article to see if he knew what the outcome was.

Yes, noticed that as well. No obit anywhere, even though he was a doctor known for good and bad reasons. Also wonder if he ever visited the White Hut during Obama's reign.

El Amir died ... Why is this not surprising? I’m still unclear what his role was I.e what he was doing beyond money laundering.

On 2/15/14, the day after Valentine's, Medhat El-Amir, MD had a cardiac arrest in his Uber on the way to his appointment at my office. I marked him down as a "no show".

The world lost a great man.

My prayers are with his family.
