Depends on who is doing the questioning and who has final jurisdiction.... that’s the ‘controlling legal authority’ here. Really, who HAS custody of him? Can his Soros-supplied lawyer force him not to slip and confess what really happened?

That is all MOOT. Once he has an Attorney he can’t be questioned without the Attorneys consent. Doesn’t matter where he is or who has jurisdiction. Any lawyer would know to issue a letter to the court and prosecution acknowledging the representation of Client and the Miranda Issues therein. The latest the questioning could possibly happen is just before the arraignment.
