A ZOT is Free Republic's equivalent of being declared an unperson. The zotted individual simply disappears.
A FR administrator orders the ZOT. But the actually zotting is carried out by one or more Viking Kitties.

You've been registered since 2009? ZOT is used when a moderator kills a thread. ZOT is usually combined with a lightning bolt gif and a pic of a cat dressed in viking war gear.
