A billboard campaign seeks to educate Chicago-area drivers about a traditional garment worn by some Muslim women.
For six weeks, billboards along the Tri-State Tollway and I-55 will feature women wearing the hijab, a veil covering the head and chest.

I mean, what if I didn’t want to get educated about Islam? And don’t care why Muslim females in America want them?
I am.not going to run anyone off the road, and wish no.ill will on anyone. But what if I don’t want to be educated??
What if I am overwhelmed and burned out on being educated about Islam , homosexuality, transsexual people, illegal aliens, global warming, and liberal causes in general? What if I just want to be left alone?

Tell that to women in Iran, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia and then ask them what will happen if they don't wear it.

Yeah, a religion that is directed by their bible to lie, cheat, and harm anyone that denies their religion and doesn’t want to be in it. They brutalize their women with forced female genital mutilation. Domestic violence among the Muslim community is considered a complicated humans right issue due to varying legal remedies for women by the nations in which they live, not a crime as it should be. Welcome to sharia law. And finally, their god incites them to kill the infidel and promises reward in heaven if he/she dies trying. This sound like a religion of peace and tries to impress people with billboards to show it? It is not a religion any more than satanism is. They are just a little more overt with there inhumanities.

The one on 294 says the hijab was worn and “honored by Mary, the mother of Jesus.” So all of you Christian women, don your hijabs.

Looks like that black TV woman didn’t agree. The muzzies will keep pushing to get a foothold here in the US until they get total control.
OK. Let’s have a campaign to educate the public about the history of the hijab. How did it come about? Was its origin to stifle women’s expression of themselves and turn women into a lower class of humans? What is its significance? Is it a fashion accessory or are women required to wear it under Islamic law? I’ll listen to an education campaign that honestly answers those questions. Is suspect this “education campaign” will whitewash the purpose and history of the hijab and be just another PC cudgel to beat Americans into unquestioning acceptance of non-Western culture.

Agreed.. I see women in hijabs in Houston and a few times in the full tent...I’ve not heard of anyone freaking out over it.
