Malik knew from her own experience what might follow. One driver, upon seeing her wearing the garment, attempted to force Malik off the road one time.

“Right on 59 in Streamwood. He drove me into oncoming traffic with my kids in the car, spewing out words, like, ‘go back to your country,'” she said.

I call BS on this.

So do I. I don't know anybody who would randomly assault a woman because she is wearing a hijab.

Agreed.. I see women in hijabs in Houston and a few times in the full tent...I’ve not heard of anyone freaking out over it.

If the guy was telling her to go back to her country it was probably because she didn’t know how to drive and was doing something reckless!
