CAPONS are rare in the US anymore. Too much trouble and too little demand, plus PETA would have a fit..................

Even back in the late '60/early '70s, my great Aunt had to special order them from the "fancy"/gourmet butcher she used to buy her meat from.

They were delicious and I always enjoyed having dinner with her. Nobody else, in my family, ever bought Capons, so it was a real treat!
