As I was dozing off to sleep last night, I wondered: If this kid Cruz traveled to the school via an Uber driver (is that still being considered as true?), then what vehicle was he driving when they say he left the school and went to a McDonalds, and one other stop, before they caught him?
Did he have a vehicle waiting at the school? Did he steal one from there?

Oh I so admire the questions, zzeeman! I wish I knew the answers. I think you are right that it requires more delving.
I have followed some of this rabbit hole, but not very deeply. I had not heard that about him having used an Uber driver and then using another vehicle to leave the school.
It does make one wonder. It doesn’t make sense, and that is part of the terrible smell we are picking up, IHMO.
