I don't know 100% if Q is real. However, there is quite a bit to intrigue even the casual observer.
Either Q is a real person(s) conducting the greatest play-by-play in American history and who is in President Trump's inner circle (and indeed Q has said some of the posts were from Trump himself), or Q is a vast fraud and joke.
What is the Q Anon subject?
Some of the information posted here is from a document prepared by a 4chan/8chan poster. It was last updated some many weeks ago, but has terrific background and decoding information. Credit to the author for some of this:

How it started:
Q Clearance Anon is a high-level anonymous source who has been dropping "bread crumbs" for several weeks, signaling worldwide governments & corporate corruption. Q Clearance is the highest level DOE clearance, however, it is also synonymous with a TOP SECRET/SCI (Special Compartmented Information) clearance in government.
Three families of focus include the Saud, Rothschild, & Soros families.
The Saud family was the center of the recent arrests in Saudi Arabia (SA). They are thought to be connected to 9/11, Vegas, & a globalist agenda. SA is VERY connected to corporate America & corrupt politicians.
The Podesta Group lobbied on behalf of SA, & Saudi Arabia has donated to the Clinton Foundation (CF), the John M Institute, Harvard, Georgetown, & Barack Obama (BO).
James Rothschild is the owner of Comet Ping Pong, which has been the subject of human trafficking accusations.
George Soros recently transferred $18bil to a NP. He supports the leftist agenda by funding numerous leftist groups, including ANTIFA. One of his top hedge fund managers was recently arrested for human trafficking. One victim claims he said, "I'm going to rape you like I rape my daughter." Soros is also connected financially to Clinton, McCain, & the Saudis.
The CF has taken money from many dirty places. Evidence shows that the CF funneled money through Perkins Coie to retain Fusion GPS (FGPS) & create the Trump Dossier. We know Clinton bought the DNC & possibly influenced Trump's campaign hires to validate the Dossier. James Comey reportedly received $6 million from Lockheed Martin, who also donated to the CF & once employed Stephen Paddock.
Wikileaks recently released VAULT 8, which shows that [C]lowns [I]n [A]merica has the ability to impersonate Russian cyber security firm, Kaspersky Lab, which means they can put Russia's fingerprint on anything. NYT then released an article about [N]o [S]our [A]pples breach, where [C]lowns[I]n [A]merica condemned [N]o [S]our[A]pples & blamed Russia.

Is Q a Legitimate Insider close to the President?
You are going to have to determine that for yourself. There are many clues, far too many to post here.
What is the belief to be confirmed? Q is someone with access to the President's twitter account and direct ties with the Oval office and Trump. Do the facts confirm this?
• Fact 1. Q posted a bunch of stuff. 7 minutes later the President ended a tweet with "+++." 7 minutes later Q posted with "+++" (POTUS has rarely if ever used symbols in his tweets)
• Fact 2. Trump posted a photo on twitter file-named "DOITQ". Connect the dots of the "Thumbs up" in the photo and you draw a "Q." Place 16 random Scrabble letters in a row. What are the odds that you will spell anything in any 6 or more spaces? Let alone anything that could read as Q confirmation. Is random or human more likely?
• Fact 3. Photo of North Korea shows up in POTUS welcome home from Asia video. For sure someone close to POTUS put that photo in the video. Q asked many questions about NK and hinted that Barack Obama was in NK at the time.
• Fact 4. After telling us that the Rothschild ++ are now being targeted, the helicopter story crash at the Buckinghamshire’s Rothschild Domain happened. Mission failed for unknown reason. 3 bodies identified, not the fourth one. No news of Lord Jacob de Rothschild since then.
• Fact 5. We (several anons) asked Q on the 11/20/17 (CST) around 3:40am (CST) on the CBTS #445 thread to tweet wonderful day. Next day –after 24h no tweet- from Donald J Trump, the 11/21/17 at 2:49pm (CST) he tweeted our request. See picture above (Figure 1).
• Fact 6. Trump's Thanksgiving Message: VIDEO LINK >0:36 "AS STORMS RAGED WILD" >0:41 "Their first act was to pray" >1:39 "Restore... Thanks... Patriots.. Warriors who kept us safe and free" >3:44 "We are doing something special. People are feeling It"
• Fact 7. Trump retweeted and shared a post from magapill.com which is a website that keeps tracks of Trump’s accomplishment since he interred in office. What is so special about that? The answer is that the day Trump shared this website, the first news on the main page was about “Q Clearance Patriots”, the insider on 4chan, yes about Q. See picture on the right (Figure 2). “Strangely” after Trump’s tweet, the website went viral for a few minutes and down. A few moment later it was backup, no explanation, only a weird excuse from the host which even the owner of the website find odd. The MSM talked about it too.
- Fact 8. Q warned us about the NYC “pipe bomb” attempt before it happened. He told us about the fireworks and BDT (Bangladesh currency). - Fact 9. Q warned that John Perry Barlow (secure drop site founder for whisleblowers) could be killed. Two weeks later, he was dead. Q suggests he was murdered (187). The site is also named “APACHE” – something Q mentioned on several occasions (however, it is believed APACHE as double meanings, which is common for Q).
- Fact 10: Q has mentioned several times that secure drop website are used by the Deep State to funnel information to paid off useful idiots and traitors in the media to get the daily message out (4 am drops). Snowden re-tweeted a post by Zack Whittaker that confirms this. Q thanked Snowden for confirming to everyone what he already knew.
• Fact X. Other tweets POTUS – Q per timer happened with Q warning us ahead. I won’t add them to the facts list every time.
Does this confirm anything?
Any of the above facts would strongly indicate that someone with Q Clearance and access to the POTUS's Twitter account is definitely behind “Q” on 4chan & 8chan. Not to mention about the “predictions” from Q’s posts. Check the dates and the dates of events such as the Saudi Arabia cleaning of corruption and arresting of the princes or the last in date about the NYC “pipe bomb” attempt from the Bangladeshi dude.
So what?
If none of the Q predictions come true, then it's all a waste of time. Not true. The mere fact that someone with access to the President's Twitter account is putting conspiracy theory stuff on 4chan is huge news:
1. Q could be leaking.
2. Q could be trying to damage POTUS.
3. Q could be trying to discredit POTUS.
4. POTUS could be experimenting.
5. Q could be POTUS / close to POTUS using us as real news. The mere fact that someone with access to POTUS twitter is posting here makes this worth watching.
The only real advice I can give you is to be a critical thinker, open minded but checking facts, double checking, crossing dates, times, interests. Think by yourself and just connect the dots !

How the Deep State Works
There are hundreds of Q posts. I have begun to read from the beginning. There are some drops on that link that have an "ANSWERS" click able link that decodes some things (initials, a possible interpretation, etc.)
Some things in the narrative that people need to pay attention to:
- Admiral Rogers started collecting evidence of their crimes years before Obama left, and when Adm Rogers met Trump in Trump Tower days after the election, he told him the place was bugged, and gave him vast intel on the conspiracy by Obama and his minions to frame Trump. The next day President Trump moved his entire transition team out of Trump Tower and to his golf club in Bedminster New Jersey.
- Trump is using current law (including the Patriot Act, Title 10, Title 35, and court decisions such as United States v. Reynolds, 345 U.S. 1 (1953) to take Emergency measures to expose, engage, and bring to justice members of the Deep State who have engaged in human trafficking, corruption, and treason. Military Intel, the military armed forces, and other White Hats are working on “The Plan” to bring the evil players to justice: ”Military Intelligence. What is 'State Secrets' and how upheld in the SC? What must be completed to engage MI over other (3) letter agencies? What must occur to allow for civilian trials? Why is this relevant?”
Pelosi, Maxine Waters, and many members of the Washington elite and Congress have become rich through corruption, foreign money, bribes, selling their office, influence peddling, kick backs, graft, and outright treason. People who spent their careers in government making less than $170,000 per year maximum have net worth in the tens and hundreds of millions of dollars, own private jets, own multiple vacation properties, and live in mansions.
- George Soros moved billions to a NP (Not for Profit) last fall. Why? He knew Trump and the white hats in government were going to seize the funds
- Soros doesn't fund ANTIFA and all the rest out of his own pocket. The cabal is global. The "Paris Climate Change" fund, the UN "funds", and the global "initiatives" that Obama had the taxpayers paying hundreds of billions for was funding the Left.
- Sessions shut down a $6 Billion "slush fund" last fall that was laundering money through DOJ "settlements" to fund the Left as well
- The President is surrounded by Marines and other military. According to Q, the military internally leaked that it was prepared to launch the 'unthinkable' if Barry Hussein tried to nullify Trump's victory through a "recount" or "electoral college" dispute. Obama backed off. Why? The military would have launched a coup.
- Obama left the White House not only bugged, but with devices in certain rooms that could cause "harm" - such as the one that used high frequency to attack our diplomats in Cuba
- Children disappeared from Haiti, and so did the billions donated after the 2010 earthquake. Many children were kidnapped for sex trafficking and possible sacrifices. - There are 3 pillars of globalist money, Saudi Arabia, Soros, and the Rothschild's. The Saudi money has been neutralized through the internal coup we launched (the arrest of Alwaleed and others). We froze his assets. The other financial strings are being cut. Saudi money bought off many of our politicians (Democrat and Republican)
- Obama wanted the Iran nuclear "deal" to transfer Billions in cash and gold to Iran, of which he and others got a piece. The Iranians gave their uranium and nuclear technology to North Korea, and the globalists want a war and to use North Korea to either bring disaster to America and/or to destroy Trump

- Hillary may have already been detained. (my own speculation here: the surgical boots both have been wearing were to conceal ankle bracelets. McCain actually put his boot on the wrong foot once, and Hillary's description of her injury (breaking a toe) and wearing this boot for 3 months is ludicrous.) Medically, elevating the foot at that angle and degree would not even heal a broken toe (ask a doctor).

- There is a WAR going on between the CIA (Clowns in America) and the white hats in Military Intelligence. We are witnessing that right now.
- Snowden is a CIA agent. He was recruited and trained, and then sent to NSA under the guise of being a contractor for Booze-Allen. - The CIA has its own secret army and air force. It has used North Korea as a staging area (as well as other black sites around the world). The CIA has been supplying technology to North Korea to develop missiles to propagate war. ISIS was a CIA creation as well. Many in the State Dept were in cahoots with this operation. - Trump's December Executive Order regarding corruption and human rights abuse is key to bringing down the evil players, including Hillary, Obama, their minions, politicians, bankers, and leaders of industry (the elite). Trump is freezing and seizing their billions.
- Several tech company executives have resigned in the last month or so because of Trump's Executive Order, because they don't want their companies assets seized. Among those who resigned was Google's Eric Schmidt, who has been working with Obama's CIA and Hillary's State Dept for years. - Hugh Hefner worked with the CIA for decades to blackmail politicians, celebrities, and people in power. They were lured into sex with playmates, and the encounters were taped. - Julian Assange is most likely under Trump's protection and in Switzerland. Perhaps the same deal has been given Eric Snowden.

- Obama nearly destroyed NASA in order to give Billions in contracts to cronies like Space X (owned by Musk). This type of corruption was repeated over, and over, and over again.
- Hundreds of sealed indictments have been filed since last fall.
- Obama is in a panic because his benefactors are being neutralized and cut. Obama travels ahead of the POTUS in order to attempt to thwart Trump's plans (more treason) and an attempt by Obama to find new handlers.
- Q has posted many pictures and images to drop in an attempt to confirm that he is close to Trump. Trump's tweets also follow a pattern (timing, language, etc).
Q posts suggest that White Hats, Military, and courts (Sessions?) are moving against the many members of the Deep State. There was a Real Time series of photos (from a satellite or drone) showing a flash bang takedown of bad guys at the King Tower in Shanghai China.
Q has also said that the train crashes, plane crashes, power blackouts at airports, recent resignations of members of Congress, high level government officials, and resignations of CEOs and Deputy CEOs of tech companies (Google, Twitter, etc) are all related. He suggests that AG Sessions is moving against these people, and that Trump is tightening the noose. Expect things to happen.
- The plane crashes (Russia), blackouts, Emergency messages on media, train crashes, Las Vegas massacre, school shootings, etc. – are all not “coincidences.” These are False Flag operations. False Flag DOES NOT mean the event didn’t happen. It means that the real perpetrators, cause and purpose of the attack is not what the media is telling you, and what it seems. Power outages at airports may be False Flags by the White Hats (i.e. the Atlanta power outage was undertaken so that Obama could be “extracted” – possibly for questioning). But Q has outright stated that the train accident the day after the State of the Union and the Florida school shooting were Deep State orchestrated events. The school shootings are coordinated by CIA, who program mentally unstable individuals as sleeper cell maniacs, who can be ordered to strike even via a phone call. Tough to imagine and hard for many to accept, but the MK ULTRA program is real. Also, the Las Vegas shooting was related to Saudi Arabia (who owned a floor of that hotel).
- Adam Schiff received a $7.8M bribe, and is being directed by his handlers to thwart Congressman Nunes’ exposure of the Deep State/DNC/Hillary/Obama cabal and their treason against Trump. Schiff was involved in possible child pedophilia at the Standard Hotel in Hollywood. The Standard Hotel is a creepy place (see their website). The manager of the Standard Hotel and another employee ended up dead in an unexplained helicopter crash. Q stated they were murdered to cover up what they knew about Schiff and pedophilia/underage prostitution.
- As strongly suggested by Q, these posts were from Trump himself to the board. 4,10,20 corresponds to the letter of the alphabet (DJT).
