The FBI Was Warned About A School Shooting Threat From A YouTube User Named Nikolas Cruz In September
In September, a YouTube user named Nikolas Cruz left a comment on a video stating: "I'm going to be a professional school shooter." The video's creator alerted both the FBI and YouTube.
Last fall, a Mississippi bail bondsman and frequent YouTube vlogger noticed an alarming comment left on one of his videos. "I'm going to be a professional school shooter," said a user named Nikolas Cruz.
The YouTuber, 36-year-old Ben Bennight, alerted the FBI, emailing a screenshot of the comment to the bureau's tips account. He also flagged the comment to YouTube, which removed it from the video.
Agents with the bureau's Mississippi field office got back to him "immediately," Bennight said, and conducted an in-person interview the following day, on Sept. 25.
"They came to my office the next morning and asked me if I knew anything about the person," Bennight told BuzzFeed News. "I didn't. They took a copy of the screenshot and that was the last I heard from them."

I was wondering if the media would cover the story that the FBI knew about this.
On Varney today, David Asman was hosting the show and speaking with Bret Baier. He said the FBI said they had been warned about the situation but couldn’t investigate because they didn’t know how to find the guy. Asman said they’ve seen the screen shot emailed to the FBI, and “Nikolas Cruz” was clearly shown on it.
A guy I used to work with who worked with them often called them “Famous But Incompetent”
Can’t execute a coup worth a tinker’s dam, and can’t stop a shooter who posts in his own name, if that’s really the guy who did it.
A reporter from Houston taped an interview with a teacher who was conversing with Cruz as the shooting started. I downloaded it before it could disappear.
Of course they’re busy . . . what with all the “undocumented” - and otherwise unvetted - people running around loose. Thanks, Obama!
The tip to the fbi ended it quickly.
Don’t forget f’ing each other while in office romances. That takes time and effort.
Hey, the FBI was way too busy at that time trying to find schlock that they could sling at Trump.
