This thread is a friendly collaborative place for FReepers to share information and opinions about Q Anon content. FReepers have a wide variety of reasons for investigating Q Anon content; this is not the appropriate place to criticize or badger those who choose to use some of their time in this manner.

I plan to post one thread at a time and ping new drops posted to it. The current schedule is to post new threads Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. When I post each (new) thread, the prior thread is retired and all new posts occur on the newest thread.

You can locate my prior Q Anon threads by searching the key words "Q Anon" or "Qanon" using the search window in the upper right of the Free Republic's forum page. The active Q Anon thread will be shown at the top (newest) of the search results.
Q drops (i.e., posts) often use acronyms. A few FReepers have begun to organize acronym into helpful reference materials. Here is Swordmaker's list of acronyms for your reference:

Specifically the name John Perry Barlow. At 15 years of age met Bob Weir, who later jouned the Grateful Dead. Barlow was responsible writing lyrics with Weir.
More significanlty and relevant Barlow became a political activist, mostly Rebublican, (he went other side a few times) and became a champion of an open internet and open information.
Barlow was one of the founders and Chairman of EFF - Freedom of the Press Foundation of which Edward Snowden served on the Board of Directors.

The speculation is that the "black hats" are whacking people. Like the downed Russian plane that contained several witnesses to and participants in the Uranium 1 and "dossier" scandal.
The bad guys are whacking those who can either turn on them or be used to incriminate them.
Our guys are not engaging in that tactic, as far as I've noticed.
