School terms aren't going to change any time soon so Disney is wishing upon a fake star.
My parents advised us in 2009 that they wanted the whole family to go to Disney World in 2011 for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. We scrimped and saved for those two years. We all went and had a good time, but only because we were with our family. We have been boycotting all things Disney pretty much ever since, for a variety of reasons, and never plan to go back.
Ticket prices at Walt Disney World will increase, effective Sunday. The hike comes as Disney tries to even out attendance throughout the year so guests arent stuck waiting in line and have a better time.
If they could get $500 a day a ticket, let them. Who out there thinks hes entitled to go there for less than Disney asks?
Why not just triple the admission price 3 days out of the week for the diehards who want no crowds or long line waiting?
Or just one day?

Well, I’m planning on going to Disneyland next month, will be in LA for 4 days and I think my 4 year old angel will enjoy it. Went in 92 and it was fun except for the long lines, I hope this is an off time (a Wed or Thurs).
Never been to Disneyland. I can’t stand crowds or waiting in line. To pay $100 to be abused like that is insane.
I enjoyed it “back then” ... it was wholesome and exciting when it was being built and for the 20 years after. Then it began to change. I, unfortunately, spent my money for tickets on a bad day ... one of the first “queer weekends” ... we looked around us and we were literally surrounded with guys walking hand-in-hand with guys. Later they “fixed” this by publishing those weekends. But I got caught in one early on and that was the last time we went to Disney. But about that same time when the Mouse came out of the closet, the same thing happened in my “church.” So I don’t go to Disney and I don’t attend the Episcopal Church. There are alternatives to both and life goes on.
