Same here. I went through basic in 1965. OCS in 1967. Most of today’s snowflakes would have melted in the basic I went through...and most were draftees.

Yeah, piss-pour parenting and the NEA in the public schools have ill-prepared the youth for the reality of adult life.

What the NEA and public schools have prepared for the rest of the world is “lunch”.

I feel the same way about The Air Force. I'm quite sure today I would be court martialed. At least it appears that the "touchy, feely" days of 0bama's snowflake military are finally coming to an end.
