I'm not sure the Vietnam stop is legit. The confusion stems from another poster on a different board guessing that the plane on the tarmac picture was from Vietnam. It may be similar, but so is Shanghai. I think Q was showing the perp from the King Building was being flown out of Shanghai on a flight from gate E, terminal 2 on a Star Alliance airline. Maybe United Airline. (Under US control). That flight would connect to others (presumably) and end up in Gitmo, as United is the only non-military airline to go there. (per Q)
Does that make sense?

I think that’s good - drop Vietnam from the picture, at least in this context.

It does to me and I saw the photo comparison with the airstrip to the Viet airstrip and understood why he thought that, but I also immediately thought that a number of strips are constructed that way so I’ve been downplaying the Viet piece.
The Shanghai L check in is definite. I posted pics above to demonstrate - plus I’ve actually checked in there myself so I recognized it anyway.
But Shanghai to Diego ain’t happening with a US flight - has to stop and refuel somewhere - I’m guessing that is where Dulles comes in.

Yes it makes much sense. But the pics identifying the Vietnam airport were very convincing. Did you see them? The ones with the circled landmarks?
Q had to have dropped that pic for a reason. I can see no valid reason for Vietnam being involved other than a stop on the way to somewhere else.
