Agree. I think it was a masterful distraction. He can get the military-hating left to spend multiple news cycles whining about it while he and the generals are busy doing real work.
I can think of a very good reason.
Lots of hardware and people who know how to use it in case natives (bad types) get restless once indictments open up and arrests are made, of Big Names. Probably will happen sort of all at once, and bad people (BLM, antifas, associated pet moslems) may want to disrupt things.
All the more so if it is scheduled at a particular point in time.
Let's say that public disclosure of extremely key, high ranking arrests and/or executions is to occur on Wednesday. If the parade took place on Tuesday or Wednesday morning--what impact might it have on antifa et al trying to riot in the streets?
