Do bookstores often sell tickets for a book signing? Or sell separate tickets for the booksigning and then another for the reading? The Clintons are always ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. I wonder how much of a cut they are getting from the ticket sales?

I’ve been in that bookstore. The owner is known locally as a famous children’s book writer who donated one of his homes to a neighbor whose home was hit by a small plane until the family’s own was repaired. It’s an open-area, arty, modern shop with bare wooden floors and a snack area of really poor food, set in a building that for decades seemed doomed to destruction. Originally seemed to be a VERY old and unattractive store that was boarded up but never sold. The claim was that they couldn’t refurbish, so used some of the old wood in the new remodeling. The bookstore just got far less attractive to visit.
