You have placed your country above a stupid game. Isn't it great a number of Freepers here put their money where their mouths are and when they say they boycott the NFL..they actually do. Unlike some..well, never mind ;)
I loved watching football on Sundays until this year. Never watched a game this season. My VFW turned it off which resulted in a substantial drop in revenue for programs to help not only veterans in our community but first responders, scouts and even the garden club that takes care of the oldest WWI memorial in this state. So sad.
Malcolm Jenkins, Steven Means and Ron Brooks all raised their fists in solidarity with San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has been booed after protesting several times.
the video of the Philly fan eating horseshit pretty much sums up every Philly fan I've ever met
No.
Nfl hasn’t squashed protests, they made excuses for and encouraged “taking a knee in solidarity with blm and antifa”.
You really haven’t been paying attention, have you.
Nfl squashed that protest, right?
My pleasure! Got in some quality range time.
>Unlike some..well, never mind ;)
Hey. (For the record, I did)
The beauty and elegance of our boycotts is that they’re organic, not pre-arranged with Soros sponsorship and stacks of printed signs ready for $15/hr ‘spontaneous’ demonstrations, social media guilt, and all that claptrap that only moves similarly-SJW-minded C-suite people and media rats.
If you skipped it, good for you. If not, whether because of team sentiment, one or the other team’s relative lack of whining over the season, curiosity about the ads, or whatever, OK.
By the way I heard there was a particularly wall-supportive Weathertech commercial. If that encourages you, do go ahead and watch the IMSA Weathertech Sports Car Championship :) There, at least, even the foreign-born drivers stand for our anthem, even if they aren’t holding their hands over their hearts (because it actually isn’t their anthem), and the Americans do.
You’re welcome. And... I haven’t watched any NFL games since the nonsense started. Didn’t miss it at all, either.
I did not watch a single game all season. Never again will I watch any NFL product.
DITTO!!
while I disagree with blm and antifa I thank God I live in a country where they have a right to say it and me and my family have fought and died for their right to say it. But I'm not going to boycott the NFL cause they say it. I'd sooner boycott Trump over dumb shit Nancy pelosi says.
I’m a season ticket holder for the Kings. ALL foreign-players stand for our national anthem.
Nope, we have not watched a game all year and did not even consider watching the Super Bowl. The thing is we don’t know anyone that is watching football...everyone we know has stopped watching it.
The Philadelphia Eagles have won more Super Bowls than Hillary Clinton has won presidential elections.
Or Hillary is tied with the Detroit Lions.
Yes it is no longer a boycott for us, we just don’t watch football. As my husband said you can put a fork in him, he’s done. We manage to find things to do, didn’t pay any attention to the SB.
Just completed by second season of boycotting. Don’t miss anything about it except the insults.
same
LOL
Hey, I’m not the one who got all upset about people boycotting the NFL and accused them of supporting BLM and antifa via the boycott.
That was you.
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” you and blm and antifa against the NFL. Truth hurt?
The people running the nfl are the enemy, and giving them money is idiotic.
Sorry this offends you so badly.
If the nfl capos didn’t kneel in solidarity you “might” have had a point.
Too bad you don’t.
