A lot of FReepers might remember when this happened back in 1984, I do. Leon Gary Plauche killed Jeff Doucet, the man who kidnapped and raped his son, Jody Plauche. Plauche only got 5 years probation, and we were just fine with that.

The cops were screaming "GARY WHY GARY WHY??" Why did they think? That was his kid!!

Thank you Tommy for another excellent video.

Please note I have nothing to do with or gain from his videos, but his series are excellent and offer great insight into proper self protection.

I would not have even given him probation.

No way I am convicting a father for doing what any good father would do.

If there is no doubt the man did it, being sentenced to 30 minutes bound and no cameras with the victims family should be standard sentencing... followed by life in prison if you somehow manage to survive.

Tommy left out two things:

(1) there is NOTHING in the judicial system that guarantees justice will be done, and

(2) there is NOTHING in the judicial system that is an appropriate punishment to deal with this.

The father knew these things, and that is why he took action.

“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord” (Romans 12:19).

The father’s vengeance would have been far more repaid behind those bars where broom stick handles would no doubt have taken care of the karate instructor.

The Lord Jesus said, “turn the other cheek”.

Every day I say the Lord’s prayer, which contains the single phrase “forgive us our tresspasses, as we forgive those who tresspass against us.”

As a conservative who is frustrated by the decline and fall of America that has given us so much out of control crime, violence, depravity, and dispicable behavior — it is pleasing to see a the parent of a damaged child get revenge on the evil perpetrator who damaged his child.

At the same time, I know it is wrong and evil in itself. The Christian thing is to forgive, as hard as that is, and to turn the other cheek.

I am constantly disappointed in people here who indulge with glee when “good guys” execute vengeance on bad guys.

I would think Christian Conservatives would understand why this is wrong and would condemn good guys who take the law into their own hands. Oh, I understand the temptation to cheer them on. It is oh so wonderful to see the good guy eradicate evil so it can never strike again. There is a great feeling when you know an evil dirtbag got his, and a satisfying feeling when that justice is meted out by the victim himself or a close relative of the victim, expecially when the victim is a child who can’t really execute that vengeance for himself.

All I can say is, cheering on the hurt vigilante is just wrong. Jesus would be deeply disappointed to see this. That is not how a Christian reacts. A Christian does not applaud a vigilante.

Vengeance is mine, said the lord. And every evil cretin like the perp in this video, will someday have to stand before God and explain himself. I can’t imagine standing before the wrath of God and trying to justify kidnapping and raping a child. The ultimate justice is still in store for the evil perp. That is a million times worse than being killed by a grieving father of the victim.

Turn the other cheek. Forgive. Or do not be forgiven.
