Willard:
Charlie didn’t get much USO. He was dug in too deep or moving too fast. His idea of great R&R was cold rice and a little rat meat. He had only two ways home: death, or victory.

In context, rat can be very fulfilling. Other times, not so much!

"Hey, good help is hard to find, and if the rat can cook, why not?"
I agree. And if they can dust (just spray their backs with water and run them around the house), so much the better. I also heard they work for crumbs.
I would try them if I could, but my cats get upset when they see rodents.

There are places in the world where people eat rats with relish. The rats eat grain and are good to eat. Probably not much different than eating squirrel.
