Cleveland Indians To Stop Using Chief Wahoo Logo on Uniforms in 2019

Major League Baseball says the Cleveland Indians will stop using the Chief Wahoo logo on their uniforms starting in the 2019 season.

The league says the logo, which features a smiling Native American, is not appropriate for field use.

I had some ditzy college girl try to lecture me about my Indian Motorcycle shirt. I tried to politely tell her that manufacturers give products names that they feel embody desirable qualities. I used as an example “Triumph” motorcycles. Would she want to buy a bike named “Defeat”? I told her the individual models were even named for their Indian counterpart. The Chief was big,powerful, dignified. The Scout fast and agile. I never got through. Way too much PC indoctrination.

I remember going to the old Civic Arena on a Sunday afternoon when the old Cleveland Barons came to town to play the Penguins. Announced crowd was about 4000.
