An analysis of the Dr. Jordan Peterson - Cindy Newman debate that revealed how liberals filter information and a dozen separate cases of cognitive dissonance. Also explains the genius of Trump's fake news awards
Scott Adams: Fake News persuasion, how Jordan Peterson triggered 12 hallucinations in an interviewer

I saw this guy’s video shortly after it was posted. There were NO hallucinations and I’m not sure he understands what the word means. He’s claiming that the 12 times Peterson stumped Newman (by Adams’ count) were actually Newman experiencing hallucinations. No, she’s just not a very good thinker and a feminist. You can be delusional in your views and never experience a hallucination.
Poor use of the word hallucination!
I’d say she experienced severe cognitive dissonance a dozen times.
Bill Whittle used to be a great writer. Now he only does videos. I hope Scott Adams is not going down the same path.
Scott Adams is a cartoonist! This is a step up! ;-)
These types of videos are interesting but tiring. I can speed-read, but I can’t speed-watch.
I disagree. She was quite literally ‘hearing’ things that were never said — IOW, hallucinations.
I didn’t see the video. You may be right! I do read Adam’s work and he has a tendency toward hyperbole to make a point and to get a laugh. I assumed that this was the case here.
But Rats having hallucinations while you’re giving them facts and reality would explain a lot of my experiences with them.
I watched the interview. Cindy Newman had two major problems with Jordan Peterson. 1) She didn’t want to understand anything he said. 2) She is too dumb to understand anything Jordan Peterson says if she wanted to.
On a not-mobile-phone computer go to the settings in the YouTube video and select speed. The voice pitch stays the same, it just goes faster.
“1) She didnt want to understand anything he said. 2) She is too dumb to understand anything Jordan Peterson says if she wanted to”
Sounds like a Human Resources puke I had to deal with. It was no wonder she got the nickname “Pet Rock”.
That’s horrible. It’s bad enough to put one on TV but to give one a real job with power over people!?

Totally weird, emotional, non-factual attack “interview”.
This woman is in WAY over her head in that she has no factual basis for her attacks. It’s a PC weird world for her.
“...nickname Pet Rock”...”
Too funny!Q
Yep, she's a total PC nutcaser unwilling to examine the data.
Yeah, the Youtube speed “dial” is a real time saver.
