White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly told Democratic lawmakers Wednesday that the US will never build a wall along the entire southern border and that Mexico won’t pay for what we do erect — refuting one of President Trump’s top campaign promises.

Fact or fake news? If fact, if Kelly did say this, he should resign as he is not being loyal to his boss. Very disappointing to see Trump’s own staff don’t support his agenda or that Trump is playing us. Which is it?
Army officers don’t last long if they violate the chain of command. Kelly is a Lt General, a 3 star, and he didn’t get there by publicly contradicting his superiors. If he has an opinion he shares it privately, it would be ingrained in him. The article is crap.

I really don’t care how ‘big’ the wall is - I assume every square inch will be monitored, at least.
And a good way to pay for it? Take the 97 BILLION we spend every year on illegal aliens (cut them off - they’ll have to go home) and use the first year’s return to build a BIG BEAUTIFUL WALL>

LOL. Trump has NEVER proposed a wall on the entire border. It’s not needed in some areas due to mountains, etc.
I live on the border and he is right, there are places that don’t need a wall because of natural barriers.
Right now, 100s of miles of border just have a 4 barbed wire fence, those areas really need the wall.
El Paso has had a wall since Bush, I think. and they have a very low crime rate.
He told Democrat lawmakers. ANd this is probably sourced from Democrat lawmakers. That’s all you need to know.

Kelly’s correct, but media is lying about this breaking Trumps campaign promises. Trump’s has always been a wall for only about 1,000mi of the 2,000mi border because the othet 1,000mi have natrual obstacles that dont require a wall. That’s all Kelly was saying. Trump’s going to make Mexico pay for it by taxing remitinces after the fact.
