This one was a tale of two halves, and there was plenty of drama with four lead changes in the final three minutes. The Vikings took a 7-0 lead on their first offensive possession and the defense kept Drew Brees off rhythm in the first half. After the first quarter, Brees was 1-of-6 passing for three yards and a pick.

NO, I DIDN’T, READ YTHE FIRST SENTENCE
COULDN’T CARE LESS ABOUT PRO SPORTS.
It was so much fun to watch!
“Smart move? He looks up and sees nobody between him and the goal line. Whats else would he do?”
—
I’m pretty sure, since he was headed for the sideline, that the play was called to get out of bounds and then go for a field goal at a better range. So, he has that in his head and has to change the plan in a split-second. I’ve seen games where the player catches the ball and goes out of bounds with zero seconds left.
“Yet you read this whole thread and responded.”
—
It always gives me giggle when people do that. I suspect it’s the type of guys who would who sit down and write letters to people to tell them he really, really doesn’t care about them. A funny catch-22 type of irony at work.
“These kids would disagree.”

The Chinese child laborers who make Patriots gear?
:D
That was totally awesome!!!
As several of the players expressed, the thanks and glory goes to God!
If you could care less about pro sports then why are you reading and responding in a pro sports thread?

Yup, both teams played great, had their ups & downs and shining moments. A hard-fought back and forth game, a real barn burner.
Who is 43 for NO?
What was he trying to do?
Get on SportsCenter.
I thought he was trying to avoid a pass interference call also.
The point spread was 5.5. The Vikings won by 5 so the Saints still covered the spread because the Vikings didn't go for the meaningless extra point.
I was at the home of a huge Vikings fan. Talk about manic-depression-manic-depression-mania in the last five minutes.
I believe the Vikings are the only team that had NO kneelers. The Saints certainly did.
Zim would have replaced kneelers.
As a life-long Lions fan, it’s hard for me, but I’m now rooting for the Vikes to win it all.
Indeed it was. Great second half. Glad I was relatively sober for it :-p
Eagles too.
Absolutely thrilling finish.
Whoa Nellie!
That’s very high praise!!!
In some cases, yes.
Tom Brady?
Pretty high football IQ...
