James Franco’s Golden Globe lost some of its luster after several women went on Twitter and accused him of inappropriate behavior.
Almost immediately after the actor scooped up a trophy for "The Disaster Artist" Sunday, on a night the industry spoke out against sexual harassment, Franco came under attack.
Actress Violet Paley claimed the actor once sexually assaulted her and tried to lure her 17-year-old friend to his hotel room.

The Golden Globes yanked Kevin Spacey from some award because of his supposed behavior. Why was Franco not yanked? Probably half the winners will have MeToo accusations within the week.
Was it a mepps or a simple spinner, perhaps a few salmon eggs for added color?
If Hollywood had been serious about sexual assaults, they would have shown it at the Golden Globes. they would have named the directors, and had all the victims of each perp stand. One by one, to shame each perp.
Under mob rule, a mere note of denunciation suffices to send a man and his family to the guillotine or the frozen gulag.

Ah, but did he act concerned and did he wear his “Me,Too” button? Oprah’s best friend, Harvey Weinstein, always acted concerned about women, too.

We are in a new era.
Accusations are truth. Many behaviors that were considered part of “normal” Male / Female interaction are now immediately suspect.
I remember hearing Married Women say things like, “he pursued me until I let him catch me” or “he was very persistent”.
Now those same behaviors would be called Stalking or Sexual Harassment.
The funny thing is that the reality of the Casting Couch has been known for years. Everyone acts shocked, especially Potted Plants in Weinstein’s case.
I want to submit a theory. If Harvey Weinstein looked like Cary Grant instead of Jabba the Hut, very few of his accusers would have been believed which would have resulted in this story gaining little traction and this whole Hollywood meltdown would be almost nonexistent.
Again, just a theory.
“Sexual assault” now includes butt grabbing, so is rather hard to take seriously.
These accusations are laughable.
1. Idiot #1 accuses Franco of wanting her to perform oral sex on him. This is now termed “sexual assault” and immediately makes the vast majority of males who ever lived guilty.
2. Idiot #1 also says that Franco also lusted after a 17 year old, which was the age of consent. So this makes it . . . well, legal.
3. Idiot #2 accuses Franco of asking her to strip on a movie “for only $100 a day” because it was in her contract. GASP! How dare he force her to be naked for a movie after she signed a contract saying she’d be naked for a movie! The nerve! Maybe somebody should ask idiot #2 exactly how much money she’d need before she’d be comfortable stripping off all of her clothes.
4. Idiot #3, Ally Sheedy, has the best one of all. She accuses Franco of simply being PRESENT at a play which he was . . . um, directing. Why? Because he’s a man - and that’s enough! BING! BING! BING! We have an winning idiot, here!
I thought Franco was gay anyway.
Twenty years ago the `rats insisted oral sex wasn’t really sex. It was just intense hand shaking or something.
