UGA, but Alabama is my 2nd favorite team.

In that case, might better root for Alabama, since Georgia consistently elects Hank Johnson. There could hardly be a bigger moron in all of Congress.

It was freezing and raining outside. Guess it rained on their little protest.

After President Trump came onto the field, the national anthem was played and the coin toss completed, the teams came onto the field. At that point I didn’t care which team would win. It’s a SEC thing. But I then observed the Georgia football team enter the stadium following their mascot. Georgia players started taking a knee on the way into the stadium. Again until that point I didn’t care which team won the game. Now it’s Roll Tide Roll !

Let’s not forget Iowa State won the Liberty Bowl!

Let's not forget the Hawkeyes beat Iowa State.

Pinstripe bowl winners too

There are a bunch of them, to be sure, but HJ, to me anyway, is egregious.

It may be a close score but about as exciting as a 4 hr tug of war. It’s totally wrong 2 SEC teams were chosen when 2 conference champs were overlooked.

Not meaning to diss you, but I rarely hear Gators yell, “To Hell Wih Georgia!”

Still, with my Gator roots and my Tech college years, Georgia remains one of my top 2 or 3 despised teams.

That’s nothing new. They (college) never come out for the anthem I’m told. NFL does.

Georgia has Atlanta, and Alabama has Huntsville. If you want to work in aerospace, Huntsville is the place to be. I currently live in the Atlanta area, however. Georgia is a nice state. It is well managed and has a wide variety of terrain. Alabama countryside has an unwelcome looking overabundance of "No Trespassing" signs.

I think I'll stick with Georgia.

Don’t have cable. Can’t watch. Did anybody see any sign of the anti-Trump protesters?

As a once marketing guy, I just don't understand why the NCAA would showcase their best football game on a network where a large portion of people won't be able to watch. My marketing Spidey senses tells me this is just very stupid.

I never was a NCAA football fan because they didn't have a good way to pick a national champ. Well at least they half-ass have a playoff system (I believe a playoff system needs more teams) so I have been paying attention more. I say screw them though if they are going to restrict their national championship game to just a certain audience.

Both are much too hot and humid. I would prefer Wyoming.
