I paid $5 to see Chicago in the Key arena in Seattle in the 70’s. I stopped going to concerts when tickets reached $50. It’s just not that important.
And now you can get a blue ray disc of a concert with amazing camera angles and sound quality, and watch it over and over. And there are no parking hassles and all of the other negatives that come with going to a concert.
What????
And miss all the fun and excitement of people puking all over your shoes???...............
That’s how I get my McCartney fix.
Yeah, but staying home means you have to supply your own essence of pot.
And to get the true experience, you’ll need to have a family member or friend spill beer on you.
(The clean up afterwards sucks...unless of course, you’re tv is outside )
Plus, what good is it to watch a concert, if nobody stands up in front of you?
You’re so right about concert DVD’s. They have excellent quality these days. The last live concert I even considered was SADE at American Airlines Center in Dallas (2011 I think). I couldn’t imagine seeing her in that place.
Have you seen Leonid and friends on you tube ? They are a Chicago cover band from Russia. Excellent. I am starting to like them better than Chicago. Give it a listen you won’t be disappointed.
