But there is no room for alien UFOs if one holds to biblical truth. However, I note there is one party that seeks to lie and destroy men, and has the power to make such manifestations. That is the demonic realm. There is a war going on, so a distraction from the work and glory of Christ.......fits exceedingly well. That is my reference to being careful which lens you choose to interpret the world. The Bible, or the world under the influence of demonic spirits.
I also don't think there is a disparate interpretation of Mt 2. There is a right way from using sound hermeneutics....and there is everything else.
So slam another whiskey and have a Merry Christmas. Imma have another beer.
..other than it was you who referred to the entirety of Matthew chapter 2..
to get the main idea of the Christmas story in 1-11 that God condescended to be born among men (as prophesied), in order to take on our sin and to save those that believe on him, and to be there (I hope you meant 'their') object of worship for all eternity.
You could have saved some time by stating that back in #34 instead of being obfuscatory.
But there is no room for alien UFOs if one holds to biblical truth.
Well, actually there is depending on your definition of 'alien'. If by 'alien' you mean some intergalactic spacetraveling entity then there is no Biblical wiggle room. If by 'alien' you mean 'foreign to our normal plane of reference' then there is plenty of room carved out in Ephesians 2:2 for that as you did correctly mention. And any contacts, any advice offered, any spiritual guidance brought by such 'beings' are lies and smell of sulfur..
Have a Merry Christmas. I'll go back to drinking my herbal tea.
Where in the whole of the Bible is there a shred of a word, phrase or sentence the least bit insisting that there can be no UFO's fallen angel or other critters?
