The New York Times on Saturday reported on a mysterious interaction between the U.S. Navy and what could only be called UFOs. The sighting, which took place in 2004, involved a U.S. Navy Aegis cruiser, seven Hornet and Super Hornet strike fighter jets, and a pair of unknown objects. The sighting, which was rumored but unsubstantiated for a decade remains unexplained to this day.

For two weeks, the operator said, the Princeton had been tracking mysterious aircraft. The objects appeared suddenly at 80,000 feet, and then hurtled toward the sea, eventually stopping at 20,000 feet and hovering. Then they either dropped out of radar range or shot straight back up.

There are several interesting details about the sighting here. For one, there were clearly two unidentified objects. The first was a large underwater object that was “much larger than a submarine.” For reference, the U.S. Virginia-class nuclear attack submarines are 377 feet long. The object also had some passing resemblance to a “downed airliner.” This was technically a USO, or unidentified swimming object. Although much rarer than UFOs, such craft have been sighted over the years.

We just need to develop those sunglasses that allow us to see their true faces.

Odd that those supremely advanced UFOs can’t examine the earth without having to come down into our atmosphere and flying around at treetop level...
when we can learn everything about earth from satellites several miles up.
And we are SOoooo backward, compared to them.
And odd also that they never kidnap politicians, leaders, etc., to take for a joy ride; it has to be unknowns (for what purpose? They can’t negotiate with them).

The “video” sucks, just as I thought it would. Shows nothing I couldn’t gin up right now on my Sony Vegas. Where is the video of the straight on contact by the first flight? THAT sounded pretty straightforward and intense but alas we only have some ridiculous, silly infared with standard gollygee voiceover.

It appears to both of us in my household that many folks are not treating this recent disclosure with the import or respect it is warranted.
It is warranted a relatively high rate of importance because it is the first official government, DOD etc. disclosure of an officially acknowledged real sighting by fighter pilots part of a newly acknowledged real, official DOD UFO program.
It's true that the amount of disclosure is relatively small and nothing that new to the well informed.
However, the fact that the government released these videos and disclosed this program is a major sea change in the way the government is handling the realities involved with the public.
Essentially, all the naysayers on FR and other forums and their archaic perspectives are now shown to be grossly uninformed to terminally ignorant, if not willfully ignorant.
The naysayers and debunkers may still whine their shrill derisiveness and claim it's all swamp gas or hoax all they want. Thoughtful people, however, will be watching for the coming layers of disclosure officially put out by government officials and groups with keen interest to better learn just "exactly" what the realities are in our era regarding this "other" phenomenon, this "other" threat.
Being addicted to parroting the government's very successful ridicule strategy to keep things hidden or at least dismissed by the average citizen will no longer work for thoughtful, perceptive people willing to face the true facts of our era.
Now the implications are a whole 'nother set of variables, issues, factors, threats. And there will be tons of arguments on many sides of those issues.
But the fact that the craft and the critters exist--truly exist--and that they do tech stuff we originally had no clue about--those facts are no longer credibly arguable.
We do realize that some folks came out of the womb arguing with the first fence post they saw and are not likely to be dissuaded by any amount of high quality facts.
Nevertheless, perceptive, informed folks will pay sufficiently close attention to the escalating layers of disclosure on the near horizon well enough to be better prepared to guide their families through the dramatically changing existential and spiritual realities and implications.

That's simply not true.
A number of high level officials and professionals from industry, academia, the military and political arenas have been abducted. Very very few of them have gone on the record about their experiences, however.
e.g. The famous case where the woman was floated out of the 7th or 11th (we forget) floor window of her New York city apartment into the UFO floating near her apartment--all happening near some famous bridge (which we also forget the name of)--that case--diligent researchers ferreted out--that case also involved the abduction of the high level UN official who was caught in his limo in the stalled traffic on that bridge.
That's what keeps occurring to me. This is a big effing deal (to quote Uncle Joe Biden).
They actually insist within the next 30 days but who knows given all the variables involved.
