Rosenstein actually insulates Trump from any legal exposure regarding Comey. Rosenstein was the one who recommended firing Comey.

Rosenstein was the one who recommended firing Comey Exactly right and no one should ever forget it.
But the fact survives a departed Rosenstein.
And being politically correct, the Indian author of this little piece refers to the new DAG in the feminine.
Leading to the only choice for DAG to replace Rosen-traitor: Ann Coulter!
She will administer the review with all the alacrity and impartiality that Mueller's people brought to their jobs, and of which we are told we have no right to criticize.

Rosenstein was the one who recommended firing Comey And one good guess I've heard is because Rosenstein wanted Mueller as FBI director instead of Comey, because they had worked together on Uranium One etc. When Trump turned Mueller down, the very next day Rosenstein appointed him to investigate Trump.

I remember reading it was Jared who recommended firing Comey.
