None of the excuses here would fly if it was most any other person.
I backed off because I didn’t understand it was a domestic thing and we also didn’t hear his side.
I spend time with people with famous parents, as well as I adored my parents and I would NEVER have done certain crimes because of how that would affect them. Lots of people do not wish to humiliate their parents. But domestic situation changes things. Maybe he isn’t as much at fault.
