You never heard the song that goes:
Bow down before the one you serve
You’re gonna get what you deserve

This Nine Inch Nails song details the fascist society we are rapidly becoming.
Every Day Is Exactly the Same. You are starting to appreciate Trent Reznor. Admit it. :)

I virus scanned my computer, made and ate a meatball sandwich, played some video games and had Red Zone going. And there’s a pot roast cooking away. I got a lot of hobbies.

Love the song, but couldn’t get with the Joni wailing.

Ok, yes, I have heard the Johnny Cash version. I feel redeemed. Its so sad though!Trent experienced drug addiction, as I did. We both recovered, but this song was written at his low point. I identify so strongly with the pain he expresses.
This other song is on that topic, the pain of addiction.

Never heard any Nine Inch Nails songs except the Johnny Cash one.
I was addicted to books on tape and cd for about 20 years, so I missed about two decades of popular music.

Best concert I ever saw was Steely Dan, when they were doing the whole album tour, they played Aja. They matched the lights to the sound board, so all that intricate Steely Dan, bump this for two beats, and slide that was actually visible. Mesmerizing. It’s always fun to watch Aja get played live, you think of Dan as so mellow but when you actually watch the drummer on those fill it ain’t that mellow.

Steve Gadd’s performance on “Aja” is one of the all-time greatest drum performances, ever.
To: bagster
Joni Mitchel doing back vocals for Neil Young and The Band. It’s not like Joni Mitchel proper, which has always been boring.
So far so good.

Steely Dan’s drummer. I feel like I should know who he is. But I don’t.

But keep in mind that I like a few Taylor Swift songs. Think that will disqualify me?

Well, you asked. Try this, the late Michael Brecker got a Grammy for this solo. I can keep up for a while, but wow...
