Schools across the UK have been shut today after the country was hit by a so-called 'snowbomb' yesterday.
Thousands of homes were left without power and Brits faced travel chaos as trains and flights were cancelled.
In particular, Birmingham will grind to a halt on Monday after all of its schools will close because of the snow.

London is like Atlanta, very seldom it gets snow but whhen it does it paralyzes the city.
We got several inched of it on Friday and many roads off the main thoughfares were difficult to drive on Friday evening/Saturday because of accumulation and ice. My kids made a snowman, and we even had one neighbor build a full size igloo in his front yard.
And it was pretty funny because I called my mother on Saturday who lives in Southwold (southwest coast of England in Devon region) and told her we had snow and she didn’t mention anything about the UK forecasting snow.
They got lucky that yesterday’s Manchester Derby didn’t resemble the Bills-Colts game.
