It "might be the best Star Wars movie ever."
A long time ago in a galaxy, far, far....actually, slash a lightsaber through that sentence because audiences don't have to wait long to see the next Star Wars adventure. Yes, that's right. The wait is almost over.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is nearly upon us as Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper, Breaking Bad) has the unenviable task of topping the box-office behemoth that was The Force Awakens. The fact that Johnson has already been given the responsibility to create a brand new trilogy is a very good sign, but what about the next installment of the world's most beloved saga?
As for the plot, here's what we're being told: "Having taken her first steps into the Jedi world, Rey joins Luke Skywalker on an adventure with Leia, Finn, and Poe that unlocks mysteries of the Force and secrets of the past."
While the official reviews are embargoed, a few journalists shared their spoiler-free opinions on Twitter and it's fair to say that The Last Jedi is shaping up to be an absolute triumph.
In fact, one journalist even remarked that it "might be the best Star Wars movie ever." Considering the brilliance of The Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope, that's high praise indeed.
Do you want to hear some better news?
It's also the longest film in Star Wars history. We think it's fair to say that the Force is strong with this one.
OJ came off as too much of a stiff in what he acted in (”The Towering Inferno” comes to mind).
As for “alleged” murderers, I can still watch Robert Blake, but he’s a good actor.
For me, it’s just one too many sequels. I just don’t care what happens to them anymore.
The whole “Force is With You” crap is over-played, tired, worn out, and can’t stand up to a well-placed 7.62mm.
Period.
“...Is Spacey a creep ? Sure. Is he a damn good actor ? Absolutely...”
I can’t get past the fact that he’s a flaming pervert. So, no, he’s not a “good actor”. He’s a flaming pervert, is all, pretending NOT to be.
Never liked the guy. Even less now.
Literally, just finished watching a REAL movie, from a better time, with better people.
“The Fighting 69th”, with James Cagney and Pat O-Brien, and a host of other lights of the silver screen in their day.
I’ll take anything made back then over most anything made today.
Id like to see that too; a sort of perverse pleasure.
Agreed!
69? hehehehehehehehehe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the first two original films...nothing after that.

I can see your point. Yes.
ROTJ: Ok, we finally see Darth Vader, Palpatine dies. Yoda dying always tears me up. About 50% of it is good.
TPM: Garbage. Saw it once. Dreck.
AOTC: Start to see Anakin turn, ok. 20-ish minutes of it are good.
ROTS: I like it because I like Palpatine.
I havent bothered watching anything since ROTS; highly doubt I ever will.
