I DO have a photo of us shaking hands, but I have no audio, so, again, no Big Payday for me. :(
I had gone to a Car Show with my boyfriend at the time. I was 16. I saw that Batman was there (the REAL Batman, Adam West!) and while my boyfriend thought I was nuts and pretended he didn’t know me, I stood in line with a lot of little kids, just so I could say, ‘Hi’ and shake his hand, get an autograph, etc.
When it was my turn to talk to him I gushed, ‘Oh, Batman! I just had to come say hello, because you were such a huge part of my childhood!”
And he says to me, ‘Well, Little Lady...how’d you like to be part of my life, tonight?’ *Wink* *Wink*
And I gasped, and then we laughed and he gave me an autographed photo and that was as close to someone REALLY famous as I’ve ever been.
Such a fun story and a very fond memory. RIP, Bruce Wayne, you randy devil, you! *SMOOCH*
