The most common question I am asked in interviews these days is why doesn't President Trump fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The better question is why doesn't Rosenstein just quit, as it's clear that nobody responsible for picking him wants him around anymore. In case you missed it, even President Trump called him out as a hack.
What's clear is that Rod Rosenstein has been overcome by swamp gas. The Deputy Attorney General, and more importantly his top staff (we'll get to that in a moment), seems to have forgotten why he has his job. He has his job because the American people wanted the swamp drained of Justice Department insitutionalists.

Rosenstein is the focal point at Justice and he hired Mueller. Rosenstein probably knew about the dossier early on. The big plot goes to the Oval Office.
There needs to be a huge amount of firing. I dont understand why thats not happening.
There needs to more than just firing. How about some prosecutions?
Introducing Guest Blogger Aaron Zelinsky
I am thrilled to introduce my colleague Professor Aaron Zelinsky who, lucky for us at Maryland, is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Professor Zelinsky will be guest blogging with us this month.
In fall 2012, he was an adjunct professor at the Peking University School of Transnational Law. Prior to teaching, Aaron clerked for Judge Thomas B. Griffith on the D.C. Circuit. From 2010-2011 he served as special assistant to State Department Legal Adviser Harold Hongju Koh.
In summer 2009 he was a foreign law clerk for Chief Justice Dorit Beinisch of the Israeli Supreme Court.
Aaron holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was an Articles Editor of the Yale Law Journal and an Associate Head Writer of the Yale Law Revue, and a B.A. in economics from Yale College. He has taught constitutional law, civil procedure, and foreign relations and national security law.
His recent publications include:
Misunderstanding the Anti-Federalist Papers: The Dangers of Availability, 65 Ala. L. Rev. 1067 (2012).
Terrorist Groups as Business Firms: A New Typological Framework, 21 Terrorism & Political Violence 327 (2009) (co-authored with Martin Shubik, peer-reviewed).
Give them enough rope etc.
Bless you Jim Jordan for summarizing the biggest Washington DC scandal since Watergate in a single easy to understand paragraph.
Nice post Grampa Dave. Keep it up.
The article got the name wrong. It is Arron Zebley, not Arron Zelinsky.

You are welcome., but the hat tip goes to HotAtlanta Mike on the other thread.
agree, fear makes one lose every time, press on, kick ass
J. Christian Adams should be the Special Counsel investigating the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
“The feces is out of the horse; aint gonna go back in.”
That is terrible job. First you have to deal with the feces.
Then zero horses will allow you to get it back in.
If one has ever been kicked or stomped on by a horse, they will avoid that crappy job.
Thanks Jim Jordan is a breath of fresh and clean air from the DC swamp.
Hopefully, he will encourage others to do the same and nail the left wing bastards working destroy our country.
bump for later
