A million years ago, the doctor "suggested" pot to help my uncle with side effects of chemo. No prescriptions, not back in those days, and certainly nothing official.

Unc swore by it. Said that it didn't help his appetite, but it at least let him get some sleep, which was a blessing. No cancer cure though. At least he was more comfortable.

YMMV. It seems to me that if treated like any other medicine, it would be fine. Of course, that will never happen, now.

It would definitely be worth a try. The strains of weed vary widely. My sister only smokes it if she can get a certain strain. The stuff my BIL smokes is way too harsh of a buzz but it is cheap.

I wonder if deer would eat it.
