Thanks to you and others for the education. I’ll be the first to admit I’m no weapon expert. I just thought it sounded like an unusual caliber for a revolver.

Even dedicated revolver cartridges can be found in autos- the 32 SW target guns, the 38 spl, etc. Often, revolvers are made to use auto pistol runds as well- son=me boutique, some military- the 1917 colt revolver uses moon clips to allow extraction/ejection of fire rounds and is considered the first example of speed loaders for revolvers.
