Except for polishing it! I put antiques into our rec vehicle and traveled with a silver teapot. Only way I could leave home was by pretending I was still home.
My silver is all packed away. Polishing is tiresome. When we finally retire and settle down in a permanent place, I’ll pull it out.
Polishing the silver was always one of my Grandmother’s ‘get ready for Christmas’ chores; so I have some fond memories of it.
