WASHINGTON National Right to Life today endorsed pro-life Judge Roy Moore (R) in the Alabama special election to serve out the term of Jeff Sessions, who vacated the post in February to become U.S. Attorney General. Moore defeated Sen. Luther Strange, who was appointed to temporarily fill the vacancy, in a special primary earlier this year. Moore faces pro-abortion Democrat Doug Jones in the December 12 general election.
Judge Roy Moores position on life reflects the true values of Alabamas voters, said Karen Cross, National Right to Life political director. There is a stark contrast between Judge Moore, who supports legal protection for unborn children, and Doug Jones, who supports abortion for any reason until birth. Alabama voters concerned with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family should vote to send Judge Roy Moore to the U.S. Senate.
In a letter to Judge Moore announcing the endorsement, National Right to Life cited his support of pro-life legislative efforts such as the Hyde Amendment and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. National Right to Life also recognized Moores longstanding commitment to pro-life principles and for speaking up on behalf of the unborn and their mothers.
In pro-life areas of the country, like Alabama, Democratic candidates must have pro-life voters in order to win. However they must also appease the pro-abortion masters of the Democratic Party. As witnessed earlier this year, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez announced that the DNC would only support candidates who support an extreme abortion agenda calling for unrestricted abortion for any reason including late abortions after 20 weeks and taxpayer funding of abortion.
The most ridiculous evidence of this took place earlier this year when West Virginia Democratic Senator Joe Manchin appeared in a picture holding a Planned Parenthood sign that read, I stand with Planned Parenthood. Manchin later appeared in a picture with a pro-life group holding a sign that read, We dont need Planned Parenthood.
Manchin, who claims to be pro-life, has a 25% pro-life voting record in the 115th Congress. There are similar situations in other parts of the country where Democratic senators must have pro-life votes to win including Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly (25% pro-life voting record), Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey (0% pro-life voting record), and North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (25% pro-life voting record.) They will seek to get pro-life votes while trying to please the pro-abortion masters of the Democratic Party.
This radical abortion litmus test comes from the Democratic Party that is backing Doug Jones in his campaign against pro-life Judge Roy Moore, added Cross. But they cannot beat the infrastructure and grassroots base of National Right to Life, its state affiliates, including Alabama Right to Life, which can respond quickly anywhere in the country. For that reason, we are confident Alabama voters will elect Roy Moore on December 12. Alabama, Judge Roy Moore
Okay this is a pro life site I don’t frequent as much, but yea I missed it. Suspected something was up is why posted the other story.
Really need to frequent this site more often it would seem.
The choice is clear for Alabama voters.
Vote for a RAT who supports the murder of babies in the womb
Or vote for Moore who believes every life is scared.
I've met her and she is VERY butch.
Kyle Whitmire is an effete "columnist" there (though he's married) and he's written with more vitriol against Judge Moore than anyone, with the possible exception of John "I forgot I declared bankruptcy and I've got a gay brother" Archibald.
They hate Judge Moore and they have made it clear that they do.
Their jobs are also dependent on pleasing their editor. Those 3 papers are owned by Advance and they have laid off over 40% of their employees in the past few years and now only print 3 days a week.
So you have lesbians and leftists calling the shots and maybe a couple of people who are afraid to speak out in fear of losing their jobs.
But this is a hate campaign of the highest order.
Want on or off this ping list? Just drop me a FReep mail.
Nice roundup of the accusers and Judge Moore's responses.
Follow Judge Moore on Twitter.
The Lord has put a hedge around Roy Moore. No weapon against him will prosper. On the other hand...McConnell, McCain...your days are numbered, you jerks! you had better repent...and soon!
I think it’s beginning to turn in his favor....I hope he has time!!!
Did they teach you that at Oxford?
Why not just read stories posted at FR?
Ok, I just love books libraries and I used that name because it’s a well-known library. I’ve never actually even been to England.
She does an excellent job too.
I get that you are a book lover, but why do you keep posting the same thing over and over?
Trying to get the pertinent info on an many Judge Moore threads as possible.
I’m sure you’d agree that knowing the back story is important.
I also did the same thing when the race was between Moore and Luther Strange, to expose Big Luther’s dirty background since I’m local.
Joe Manchin is a liar and a scumbag.
Patrick Morrisey is Pro Life.
Patrick Morrisey for US Senate!
I agree with others. What is your point in posting this spam to multiple threads? Are you believing the media narrative on the Alabama election?
Ok. I stand corrected then.
Actually, it’s to reach as many people as possible with the back story on why the media in Alabama is attacking Judge Moore.
Not everyone reads here at the same time, or sees all the threads.
I’m just trying to let people know, not spam anyone or the board. I have a good history of comments here at FR and I’m a well-rounded poster and commenter. I think more than a few people would vouch for me.
When it’s a local issue that I have some inside info on, I’m going to try and get that out.
If it offends you, I’m sorry. But I think it’s important.
Well, Im glad to know about the butch editor and the fem freelancer.
Kyle isn’t a freelancer, he’s the main political columnist. He’s married, but she wears the pants. His wife also works for the same statewide media outlet.
