I don’t remember the details of the N. Charlston event but the guy selling loosies was being really difficult and he was huge plus he had a reputation with the local cops. Lots of factors went into that one. It was a tragedy but the loosie seller could have simply been cooperative and avoided all the drama which ended up killing him because the cops were over zealous.

I’m getting hit for adding my exceptions because I am sure of all the “popular” police brutality cases lately, maybe one or two were legit. But most of the most famous ones WERE LIES so that their own behavior led to justified force upon them. My point isn’t the exceptions, and I want to be fair, but usually it is indeed poor civilization that leads to rougher treatment by LE.

So I don’t remember every detail with the guy selling cigs. I know the N Charleston one was handled perfectly: cops shooting an unarmed fleeing guy on foot -and the cop was arrested and serving/served time for murder in the first. But these are the exceptions. BLM was based on false narratives.
