I’m getting hit for adding my exceptions because I am sure of all the “popular” police brutality cases lately, maybe one or two were legit. But most of the most famous ones WERE LIES so that their own behavior led to justified force upon them. My point isn’t the exceptions, and I want to be fair, but usually it is indeed poor civilization that leads to rougher treatment by LE.
So I don’t remember every detail with the guy selling cigs. I know the N Charleston one was handled perfectly: cops shooting an unarmed fleeing guy on foot -and the cop was arrested and serving/served time for murder in the first. But these are the exceptions. BLM was based on false narratives.
Ah, okay, I remember the N. Charlston event now that you gave those details. Yeah; that was straight up murder by the cop. I have no idea what he was thinking by shooting that poor guy in the back as he was running away. All of that would have shown up in the autopsy even if there was no video but the video made it easy to convict and put it to bed fast.
