The fact is that, what you wrote or quoted, was not the complete set of facts. If you omit the complete story, you are in effect, lying. There are many ways of lying, and omitting the whole story or the complete story, is a form of lying. That’s a well-known and preferred tactic of the liberal press and liberal politicians.

Why defensive? Your accusatory tone that I somehow am misrepresenting the facts.

I posed the article for people to make their own conclusions of what effect it may have on ALL graphic processor competition in the future. YOU found some obscure conspiracy in that and concluded that I am somehow hiding something. Why would I do that and for what motive? You are delusional.

AMD is lagging behind Nvidia because of its reliance on Global Foundries as their fab.
GF is NOT a high quality fab.

Intel and TSMC are really the only quality solutions at 20nm and smaller

Yet, what’s reported elsewhere is that AMD and Intel are partnering to create a new combo chip for processor and graphics processing.

I just corrected the record, and saying that what you reported is not the whole story, is not the same as attacking you. Stop being a baby that gets upset so easily. Aren’t you like 90 plus? ;)

I reported NOTHING, I merely posted an article, but YOU attributed the article, a CNBC news report on the hiring of an ex-employee of AMD by Intel as something more than it was, and imputed to me some nefarious attempt to hide information for some reason. That is a scurrilous accusation and dishonest on your part, and you keep doubling down on your behavior instead of just apologizing and going away.

I stated in my post which you somehow find offensive, and worthy of continually attacking me over:

The very first sentence in the CNBC article says, verbtim:

"The battle over the red-hot graphics chip market just got more interesting.

Is there much different about my statement and the statement in the article? No, there is not. Yet YOU decided I had to be brought to task for some imagined plot to make Intel the villain (where? How? Does anyone see me claiming such a thing?) and a failure to write a thesis on the subject of graphic chip competition in the modern economy.

No, we are NOT talking about Apple here, and I pointed that out, but that is the source of your ridiculous existing animosity toward me. This article does NOT cover that partnership subject in any detail, but only touches on it peripherally, but strangely Intel's November 9th official news release announcing Koduri's hiring, three days AFTER the partnership announcement, specifically refers to Intel "taking on AMD competitively through this hiring". . . I do not have to make that association for people own conclusions.

The childish behavior in this thread is YOU, trying to make a mountain of importance that does NOT EXIST out of a molehill of a single sentence of comment I posted that no one else can comprehend from what I wrote because the ARTICLE DOES NOT ADDRESS WHAT YOU ARE INFERRING IS THERE.

An adult would have just brought up the partnership announced just three days earlier and discussed what this hiring and current announcement what kind of affect "going after AMD competitively" would have on that partnership, not take the opportunity to attack the poster or any other person in the thread who had NOT brought that subject up. But NO, you had to smear me, making a negative connotation on what I had posted as though I had made some kind of deliberate post to hide something. That was dishonest.

Exactly how? I posted a fairly neutral article announcing his hiring. I made the comment the future of graphic processors is going to be interesting, and pinged the Apple Ping List and also pinged dayglored for the Windows list's attention. It's a good possibility. . . but Apple won't say yea or nay. They never do.

The original announcement is talking about imbedded graphic chips. . . so on the lower end MacBooks, you could expect an imbedded Intel graphic solution to be used. The MacBook Pros use something more powerful, an Intel Iris. On the iMac Pro, they are going with the AMD Radeon.
