"Star Trek" icon George Takei has responded to an accusation of sexual assault made by a former model and actor who alleged an incident at Takei's home in 1981. In a series of tweets Saturday morning, Takei writes that the events "simply did not occur." He adds that he does not remember Scott R Brunton, who made the allegations in a THR interview which ran on Friday.
"I am as shocked and bewildered at these claims as you must feel reading them," Takei continues to his 2.8M followers.

In fact, I’m sick of all of these stories. No one has explained to me why sexual harassment causes amnesia.
