Yep. Especially if one is Catholic.
Don’t let us down Alabama.
Ive known a lot of 30 year old guys who would have NOT qualms about dating an 18 year old.
The Five, every one of them, just said Moore should pull out of the race. All said it must be true because not one but four women have accused him, Bushie Perino was the worst. Basically saying he had to be guilty. Waters said Four women, there has to be something to it and said he must withdraw.
So heres what we have. The most popular politician in Alabama being slandered in a coordinated attack from democrats and the GOP establishment. Moore has been a fixture in Alabama politics for 40 years. Not one of these victims said a word in almost 40 years. Like the paid skanks that accused Donald Trump, these women have been paid by the Uniparty. McConnell would rather a democrat be elected than conservative Moore. Hes too much like Trump, who McConnell hates with a passion. Hopefully Moore will ignore the allegations and Mike Lee, Ted Cruz and other conservatives will support him. The Uniparty led by McConnell and Ryan are rotten to the core.
These RINOS, dumb bastards that they are, have done this. It is printed in the Washington Post and 2 hours later the army of RINO Moore haters already have their statements ready. Way too convenient. And Kelly Anne Conway....I am sorely disappointed in her.....’this hypothetical is , in and of itself, is disqualifying.....What a sick statement.....even if it were to be true.......the HYPOTHETICAL.....So if anyone alleges such a thing against another person becomes disqualifying. This is sickening.
You're easily swayed before we know anything more about this than some woman waited 40 years to bring this allegation up a month before the election.
"Yeah riiiight", my dad would say.
My parents were married 55 years before my mom died. She was 14 years older than my dad. Growing up, us kids never gave the age difference a second thought. That's just the way it was. They were our parents.
People don't live their lives according to your standards but by their own.
This entire episode is a BS hit piece. Moore is one of the good guys and will be elected to the Senate.
In the hours that have passed between my initial posts on this subject and now, it is clear that this is an obvious hit piece and one perpetrated by the GOPe who are terrified of Moore joining them in the Senate.
Yeah, this whole thing stinks.
I wouldn't worry about it too much though because:
A.) The election is over a month out and this will be old news by then. Moore's opposition should've sat on this for another three weeks.
B.) Moore currently enjoys a double-digit lead over Jones and...
C.) It's Alabama. I just don't think Alabamans will be too worked up over this.
I think Moore will easily win too. However there is plenty of time for the likes of McConnell and McCain to provide more hit pieces against Moore. I hate these GOPe types more than the left as they are all 5th columnist scum (Cicero had these types pegged approximately 2,000 years ago.)
Classic democrat projection! They accuse conservatives of the very things they do.
Dating 14 or 15-year olds isn't pedophilia. It's really stupid, but it's no pedophilia. If they have sex and the parents want to, they can charge the adult with statutory rape. He didn't have sex, 40 years ago, according to the Washington Post. Now, the thing is pretty clear, that this is a case of political "WHEN DID YOU STOP BEATING YOUR WIFE?" bullshit, and I'm not going to play. None of you should. A man lives his life with a very good reputation only to be destroyed because he chose to serve political office. It's bullshit.
I really dont know why I believed her. She could have lied. But I was her once. So I tend to believe women who were molested as young teens. Also, he seemed to prefer immature girls, and even married one.
I dont ever want to excuse evil if perpetrated by conservatives. Nor do I want to condemn a good guy for an unprovable incident 40 years ago. Either is wrong. So if he has been faithful to his wife since then, and there is no hard evidence from her story, Im ok with him as Senator / candidate.
As a Jewess on the US, I can only point out that the number of women who allegedly DATED, but had no sex with, Roy Moore is EXACTLY the same number who accused President Clinton of FORCIBLE RAPE, a FAR more serious offense. Now we know why all REAL Americans put our 2nd Amendment FIRST. Just sayin’!
What an excellent observation! Should be used EVERYWHERE!
People are free to live anyway they want, but I still find it objectionable for a 32-year-old man to date young teenagers. He couldn’t find a young lady in her early twenties or older? Sorry, it’s just a bit creepy.
If it turns out that at the age of 32 he was dating young teenagers, then I will always find him a bit creepy.
One of them is a democRAT operative, worked for Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton. Not exactly credible.
One of them has apparently tried to squeeze money out of her church by making these same allegations against three different pastors. Her cases were deemed not credible in court and thrown out. Not exactly credible.
One was supposedly paid by the Washington Compost to make up a story about Moore. No exactly credible.
Something that may have happened 4 decades ago with absolutely no proof or evidence whatsoever, is no a credible claim.
You're giving too much credit to the made-up allegations by people who want to keep Moore from being elected.
This is not about sexual abuse. This is about political abuse. This man has not been charged with anything, let alone been convicted of anything. These allegations are all conjecture and innuendo, no facts.
What creeps me out more than the a 30-year old man wanting to date teenage girls, again with no proof offered or found that this ever happened, is the fact that these politically motivated allegations can derail a legitimate candidate without any proof whatsoever. Whatever happen to innocent until proven guilty in this country?
I don't have a dog in this hunt except to want the GOP to save it's seat in the Senate. What's also creepy is the GOP establishment doing this to their own candidate.
Too many people are willing to accept these "stories" and not demand facts. This is a political witch hunt plain and simple. Try getting creeped out over that.
I would agree (and I do think the woman who claim she was molested by Moore is lying), but the part about his dating young teenagers when he was 32 seems to be true. I have yet to see it denied completely. Judge Moore did a very poor job of defending himself when he was on Hannity’s show.
If I lived in Alabama, I might still vote for him, but I would hold my nose while doing it.
