Yes it is. If they weren’t any good they wouldn’t have lasted.

I think Godfather’s Pizza of years ago was the best pizza.

“I never had a Papa Johns pie. They look good on the television commercial.”

As far as large pizza chains go, I actually like Papa John’s pizza. I like variety, but I’d go for it more often than Dominos, Pizza Hut, or certainly Little Caesars (bleyuck). Their pizzas come with garlic butter sauce on the side, which is a very guilty pleasure.

What we are seeing is the first break in the dam from the other advertisers. If this went public, then you know it is hitting every one of them. We see yesterday that ESPN does not have a line item in the 2018 budget for MNF. There is a movement to have all veterans boycott the Veterans Day games next week. It already looks like that has been happening at the only Jaguars home game since the London debacle. Bengals are in town this week. Bengals will win because the Jaguars have shown they just cannot win at home.

...but of the nationwide, big chains (Dominos, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars) they are far and away the best.

As it appears you know, that's a very low hurdle. I can make much better pizza at home with almost no real effort & a pre-made crust.

True. Before my wife figured out she is a much healthier without wheat in her diet we used to make pizza at home regularly and would only rarely order out. Now eating pizza out is the only way I get it because she doesn’t even want wheat flour in her kitchen (I only eat bread at home when she is out of town).

Sadly we also now live in a small town where my pizza selections are Pizza Hut, Little Ceasar’s (won’t touch their crud with a pole), Mazio’s (regional chain somewhere between Little Ceasar’s and Pizza Hut in quality), Papa Murphey’s (good but take and bake) and Papa John’s. Unfortunately Papa John’s is the best option.

I am kind of looking forward to running off the anti-American thugs, and watching the new patriotic replacement players take the field, the games will become very unpredictable and more entertaining.

He says he thought protests were nipped in the bud last year. Really?

Uh, so where’s his condemnation for the kneelers? Or is it all about his profits.

Don Jr. Can even consider rejuvenating the Generals with Herschel Walker as the Coach!

The liberals would totally gas out.

I had a PJ pizza once. Don’t remember what it was called, but it was thin as cardboard and tasted like it, too. Very little cheese, almost no sauce.

Either he has a different pie better than the one I picked or a lot of people don’t know what what good pizza is. I don’t hold that against anyone, but I’d gladly make you a pizza to illustrate the difference.

PJ is a Louisville company and the owner has been very generous to this town and is rumored to be a good man (I don’t know him personally). And I really like his pizza. Each to his own, I guess. I think he will do the right thing and pull the ads. It doesn’t take a master analyst to figure out that associating with the Hate White Priveldge League is counterproductive.

If they pull their ads (and support for NFL), I will go back to buying their pizza.

Papa John’s secret is the sweet sauce! You can get extra just for asking - that is what made PJ’s the best 15-20 years ago. What had turned me OFF to PJ’s was too damn much of Manning - I used too, very much, like Payton Manning commercials but PJ’s just killed their pizza’s with those continuous Payton campaign commercials.
