I listen to Carlson quite a bit, and haven't heard him say a whole lot about Podesta that wasn't already in the public domain, or had already been reported by other news sources such as the Washington Post. I guess what attracted Podesta's ire is that Carlson is giving the material some emphasis, rather than just letting it go down the memory hole.
To my knowledge, Carlson hasn't attacked Podesta with the reckless charges of "treason" that are routinely leveled at Trump by CNN et al, but has simply insisted that the matter be given serious attention by Congressional and/or DOJ investigators.

I thought that Forbes and other legit sources had reported that The Podesta Group was actively lobbying for Russian banking interests during the 2016 election cycle, and that one of the goals was to have the Obama-era sanctions lifted. I’m not saying this was illegal, but any sort of contact or business relationship between Trump or the Trump campaign and Russia is always portrayed as automatically a sign of “treason.”
