Any more than that, and the remainder are little more than collector’s items, or available to friends/family/neighbors who find themselves in need & without.

If you’re looking at a large population (tens of millions) who cause absolutely no harm, and you hypothesize what kind of problem they could be, they’re not the ones to be worried about - you are.

The history of the world is full of examples of the armed guy taking advantage of the unarmed guy and being very wary of the less armed guy.
The 2nd amendment was written so that we the people would be the more armed guy and the government the less armed, so they would be afraid of us and act in our interests,
It was not written for hunting, or shooting a burglar that comes into your home (although those are fun and worthwhile things to do with a firearm)
