Singapore airlines is outstanding...took the big Airbus flying there out of LA 3 years ago...through Tokyo. Business class...excellent flying experience.
Planned to fly Dubai to Atlanta once... 15 hours nonstop. Diverted to JFK due to bad weather and low fuel. Slept on the floor, then waited in line for two hours until the counter opened, then multiple assholes bum rushed the ticket gate. No thanks! (20 trips across the Atlantic burnt me out on air travel.)
Despise the TSA.
Bought a rail pass and made three round trips riding the rails from IL to CA. Glad to have that out of my system.
Been hiking the Pacific Crest Trail on foot (3,200 miles and counting) since 2012, walking across CA, OR & WA. I think I’ve finally found my ‘mode of transportation’ niche.
