It only takes common old everyday denial.
Some people ignore that their boss is double billing clients, by purposefully not counting how many mail-outs they send to different branches of a company.
Other people refuse to listen to anything bad a child may try to tell them about an adult, and punish them if they attempt to persist in the telling.

Yes, and it’s animated (to appeal to children), and has the lead from Big Bang Theory (who is gay) as well. I change the station if I’m listening to music and Michael Jackson’s songs come on. I will absolutely NOT watch his halloween special, either.

I grew up in the classic American upper middle class home. I had no want. All my needs were met, the only thing was that dad only cared about his business, and mom wanted to be June Cleaver.
When I told my mother about this, she dismissed this because of his congenital heart condition and she let it go on(in front of neighbors), because he had to go the Cleveland Clinic to help him.
In closing, I never got real help. My father and mother are now deceased, and the abusive brother is a big democrat donor in Travis County.

Sometimes the one child may not know exactly what is happening to the other child. Suddenly I wonder if this could be the guy that Corey Feldman has always so strongly alluded to as still active in Hollywood.
