One of Washington's most powerful lobbying firms did not disclose the wide extent of its lucrative political work for a Ukrainian group tied to both onetime Trump adviser Paul Manafort and to pro-Russian politicians, new records show.
The firm, the Podesta Group, said nothing in a 2012 lobbying report to Congress about at least 32 meetings, emails and other communications it had with the State Department, at a time when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was scrutinizing Ukraine's upcoming election, records show.
The new disclosures shed light on the web of contacts between Russian-leaning Ukrainians, Washington lobbyists and U.S. policymakers during the Obama administration. The Podesta Group filed new, detailed lobbying disclosures in April to augment lobbying reports from 2012 to 2014 that had given little detail.

LOL - CNN will be hearing more about the Podesta group in the future... they can’t dodge this one forever...
I hope this thread is not intended to suggest that Manafort’s ties to Podesta are under investigation. Never forget, Mueller is not your friend. Russia is not your friend.
Too bad Trump’s attorney general is (apparently) in a coma.
Pleas3 explain.
Not in a coma....meekly cowering in his office.
Afraid the newspapers might write mean words about him if he actually does his job?
The first sentence in the second paragraph mentions the “Podesta group”. It gives them an out by saying they filed amended papers later. I guess if you break the law and admit it before you’re caught then you’re cleared.
‘Rats protecting ‘Rats.
No conspiracy needed between CNN and the DNC.
Just doing their job as they see it.
Muler had this in his pocket for when the U1 heat got too hot.
I don’t see how they can prosecute Manfort and not go after Podesta for the same offense.
Oh, after reading post 8 that Podesta filed amended papers, then I do.
How so? I see “Podesta” in the title and subsequent paragraphs.
But only one can be guilty.
You see it in MAY, when this article was published.
Oddly, that fact has disappeared from recent reporting.

I dont see how they can prosecute Manfort and not go after Podesta for the same offense.

Because
1) Their attitude is clearly they can do anything they want to do or not do anything they don’t want to do and too bad if we-the-people don’t like it.
2) If the media doesn’t report it it didn’t happen... and the media won’t report it.
3) Our Attorney General is more interested in going after potheads.
It’s gotten to such an absurd point that Trump himself is regularly tweeting his frustration that the “justice department” is simply refusing to do its job.
Looks like CNN’s angle to this is the previous administration, including Hillary as SecState, never was made aware of the Ukrainian connections.
Because this ties in with the Uranium deal, and Mueller is up to his eyeballs with that. That's why.
