I forgot about football on both Monday and Thursday nights last week. Not "didn't watch", not "boycotted". Forgot about it completely.

Two years ago, such a thing would have been unthinkable for me.

When truly hardcore fans go "indifferent", that bodes poorly for the sport.

Agree with you 100%. That is a crucial point you have raised.
My bosses told me my entire career elated *or* angry clients can all be managed.
There is typically passion behind both those emotions.
When they are indifferent to you, that is a BIG problem.
